Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN's)

Department: Clinical

Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Prepare and sanitize exam rooms.
  • Triage and review medication and problem list with patient and chart in electronic health record.
  • Take vital signs (ie: manual blood pressure, weight, and temperature.)
  • Administer injections
  • Report patient history summary.
  • Keep patient rooms full and ready for providers to see patients on time.
  • Sanitize and restock supplies used in exam rooms as needed.
  • Assisting physicians with other duties as needed.


  • Alabama LPN license is required.


Registered Nurse (RN's)

Department: Infusion

Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

The Registered Nurse will be clinically competent to provide care to patients while applying the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation and evaluation. RNs will effectively communicate with patients, significant others and other health team members while upholding all standards of professional nursing.

  • Provide personal patient care to ensure comfort and well-being to the patient, acknowledging physiological and psychological needs.
  • Communicate with the Physician regarding patients’ needs and nursing assessments.
  • Access and monitor patients for side effects, reactions or changes in patients’ condition.
  • Educate patients on their treatment plan in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administer chemotherapy, mix pre-medications as well as calculate doses in accordance with Physician’s orders.
  • Administer infusions and injections as well as access ports and draw labs.
  • Record patients’ medical information, vital signs and any new information.
  • Perform or assist in any other duties that may be required.
  • Must be team orientated.
  • Must communicate proficiently and provide ethical conduct while implementing stress management and composure.


  • Alabama RN license is required.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • 1 Year of nursing experience required and Oncology experience is preferred.


Medical Laboratory Technician

Department: Lab

Description: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Performs patient testing without errors and recognizes when problems exist.
  • Actively facilitates patient flow.
  • Verifies correct patient identification through the pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases.
  • Handles and processes specimens according to policies and procedures documenting variances appropriately.
  • Reviews analytical results for absurd values, failed deltas and flagged results. Refers specimens to the referral laboratory appropriately.
  • Performs and properly evaluates Quality Control results
  • Verifies package insert values of new lots of QC materials.
  • Performs proficiency testing without errors. Ensures results are submitted within required timelines.


  • Associates Degree.
  • National certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent.
